1. Why can blood sentence a criminal? The blood contains genetic material from both the victim and the criminal who can often get hurt during the crime and drop particles of blood, skin, hair or other elements that will allow him to be recognized and sentenced.

2. In addition to the genetic matrix, what can blood particles present? The blood particles show the type of weapon used in the crime, the number of blows, whether the victim died immediately or not, the position between the victim and the aggressor and the time the crime was committed.

3. Is there a period of time when blood can no longer be used as evidence of a crime? The more time the blood spends in contact with the more deteriorated environment it gets and thus, all the evidence it contains becomes more difficult to analyze, however, with the use of tests and correct equipment, we are able to analyze blood particles that they were exposed for a long time.

4. What are the most used tests? We generally use origination tests, which work on the basis of Hemoglobin. However, it is rare that only one test is used, and we can use luminescence tests, tests of certainty and human origin, among others.
