Thermal conductors have many uses, but sometimes it's important to prevent the transfer of thermal energy. Can you think of an example?

It's like a stirofome it is a good conductor and it keep things warm with out energy but if you use a conductor that has energy like a heater or something that would be using a conductor with energy
