Whereas permeability means the capacity of fluid to flow easily. When there are more number of spaces then there is more possibility that fluid or water can easily pass through there.
Thus, we can conclude that porosity relate to permeability as follows.
- the more porous, the more permeable.
- the less porous, the less permeable.
