The sticks of charcoal used today are similar to those used by prehistoric peoples to draw on cave walls. With charcoal, dark passages can be drawn quickly. Because charcoal particles do not bind to the surface of the paper, charcoal is easy to smudge, blur, or erase. This characteristic of charcoal is both an advantage and a drawback. How is the problem handled?
Answer are

A.By drawing on highly textured paper.

B.By using more oil in the charcoal powder.

C.By spraying the drawing with a fixative varnish.

D.All of the above

Respuesta :

I believe D. all of the above, because drawing on texture paper will keep the charcoal to stay on and using more oil on charcoal powder will make it stick more, plus spraying it with varnish helps as well like when you do a custom doll they need varnish sometimes or the paint  smear so I say all of the above.
