How does the suicidal impulse that both Romeo and Juliet exhibit relate to the overall theme of young love?

I may be rong but I think its becuse when juliet died romeo didint whant to go on witg his life...he believed since juliet was gone there wqs no point. So he killed hisself to be with her in the afterlife.
