    ⇒ In 1 hour Willy drove 40 miles.

   ⇒  In 1 hour Willy walks 4 miles.

Let the driving time of willy is 1 hour

          ∴ distance covered by driving 1 hours is 40 miles.

So according to question,

     9 hours longer than his driving time, which means

 Walking time for Willy is (1+9)=10 hours.

∴distance covered by walking 10 hours is 40 miles.
