rule when dividing fraction or whole number-
change to multiplication and change the second number and reverse it ex- 4/8= 8/4

9/10*1/4= 9/40

When dividing fractions, simply multiply by the reciprocal.

So, 4 is now 1/4

New question : 9/10 × 1/4

9 × 1 = 9

10 × 4 = 40

So, this equals 9/40
