Can the change in cyclin concentration during mitosis be explained by the fact that the cell divides in two and thus divides the material in the cell into two smaller volumes? If no, propose an explanation for the change in concentration that is seen.

Answer: No

Explanation: Because mitosis is a part of the cell cycle when replicated chromosomes are separated into two new nuclei. Cell division gives rise to genetically identical cells in which the number of chromosomes is maintained. because concentrations would also change if cell volume had an impact on molecule concentration. Concentration is regulated at level of gene expression
